Reno Lacoste is trying out on the Kew Club's hard courts his invention of a tennis Robot capable of Bhooting ten successive balls across the net at four angles. The machine is operated by hand-power or electric motor. It can propel 1000 balls in rapid succession. His mother and sister turned the handle when he was preparing to meet Tilden.
