LIBERTY THEATRE.
'rj "Convoy," the main pictorial attrac<s lion at the Liberty Theatre this week, ;|; tells the story of a girl who stayed at home, and yet accomplished her part in the war in a manner requiring more ' stoicism and more heroism than that . shown by the men who enlisted. Her beanty leads to the infatuation of a German /■' emissary in New York, and on her is thrust *; the Judas task of trapping the Bpv and '?.! secrecy has, of necessity, to be observed. 7[ The treatment of "The Auctioneer" is ad- ' mirable, so far as its sentimentally-humorous : theme goes. This is typically American ' film fare.
