GRAND THEATRE.
The screen version of Lew Wallace's "Ben Hur" is the main attraction at the Grand Theatre this week. The story is one of revenge and of love. Revenge that is sought by Ben Hur for the wrong done him and ]iis noble House by the Romans. When the new .Senator. Valerius Gratus, is being welcomed to Jerusalem a tile from »n overhanging roof falls and strikes his head That the occurrence wa.V an accident is an explanation which carries no weight with the Romans, and Ben Hur is tent to the galleys for life.
