OLYMPIA MOTOR SHOW.

SUCCESS CONTINUED.. The races, trots, or the Royal Agricultural Show in the afternoon and the Motor Olympia Show in the evening—this is f he iound ot amusement adopted by many visitors to Christchurcb this week. The big display in the King Edward BaVracks has the merit of costing visitors little, unless, of course, one is induced to purchase a car. So attractive are these, in fact, that a considerable number of sales have already been effected since Saturday night, when the big show was officially opened. So far the attendances have been well maintained, the largest crowds naturally being present at the evening sessions, when the exhibition is to be seen at its best, owing to the' lighting effects being then displayed to their fullest advantage. There arc high-powered, luxuriously upholstered closed cars to suit expensive tastes, and by way of contrast less pretentious cars at a much more modest cost. All the exhibits are shown on decorated stands, arranged on each side of avenues, and the salesmen in charge ai'° only too pleased to give demonstrations and answer questions concerning the vehicles. A full orchestra provides music at both afternoon and evening sessions.

Olvmpia. which is one of Carnival Week's leading attractions, and which should not be missed, is now drawing to a close, and will .consequently be open for onlv two more days—to-day and to-morrow.

Every strainer and cleaner in the oil and vacuum system should be cleaned. This is very essential. Sometimes considerable sediment gathers in tbe vacuum tank. This is caused by dirt in the gasoline or pieces of rubber from the rubber hose at filling stations.
