The New Zealand Shipping Company report that the Remuera will leave Lyttelton tomorrow afternoon for Timaro, Port Chalmers, and Bluff, to discharge and load at oach of the three tatter ports. Prom Bluff the Remuera will proceed to Wellington for further loading, and is due there on November 22 nd. She will proceed from Wellington to Napier, Tokomaru Bay, and Auckland, and is to sail finally from Auckland on December 10th for Southampton and London, via Pitcairn Island and Panama Canal.

The following vessels are within range of the undermentioned wireless stations: — Auckland—Waipahi, Tofua, Kanna, Antonio, Auatrolind, West Ivan, Fort Sydney, Artemesia, Niagara, Omana,. West Henshaw, Harpolyce, Hahia, Port Darwin, Corinthie. Wellington—Maori, Wahine, Ngaio, Arahnra, Tamahine, Antietan, Petricola, Tutanekai, Kaitangata, Kartigi, Rotorua, Kaituna, West Nivaria. Awarua —Makura, Tahiti, C. A. Lavsen, Sir James Clark Ross, Karetu, Ruapehu, Waikouaiti, Tongarlro. Chathams—Pakeha, Port Curtis.
PANAMA CANAL TRAFFIC. According to official figures just published, 5475 vessels, paying 6,658,807 dollars in tolls, passed through the Panama Canal during, the fiscal year ended June 30th. Of this number 55 per cent, were westbound, but over 35 per cent, were in ballast whereas of the eastbound ships less than 2 per cent, were without useful cargoes. Tanker vessels represented the largest individual class of ship, no fewer than 1824 vessels carrying 7,250,579 tons of oil and by-pro-duets having paid tolls. The total quantity of cargo carried through the canal was 27,718,214 tons.
NEW C. AND D. LINERS. The propelling machinery for the two 11,000 ton twin-screw insulated vessels for the Commonwealth and Dominion Line are both to be fitted with the Doxford opposed piston oil engines, which will be built by William Doxford and Sons, Limited, at their Pallion work*, and are to be of the fourcylinder balance type with bore of 600 mm. and combined stroke of 2320 together giving 8000 h.p. Messrs Dosford have previously supplied the engines for the C. and D. motor vesseU Port Hobart, Port Dunedin, Port Fremantle, and Port Gisborne. PORT OF TIMARU. The Wingatui arrived from Dunedin yesterday, and left later in the day for Wellington, Pleton, and Auckland, via Lyttelton The Totara, carrying a full eargo of coal from Westport, arrived last night. She leaves for Lyttelton to-day.
