I PUPILS' DAY OUT. [ School children, whose numbers ran intt i w ell over two thousand, congregated yester- '• day afternoon at Lancaster Park, when the annual inter-primary schools' sports were held. The meeting, which is controlled by tho Canterbury Primary Schools' Amateur Athletic Association, is by far the largest held in Christchurch during the yoar, and was run off without a hitch. Only five hours were token to complete nearly one hundred events. The championship was won by Phillipstown with 27 points.
