FAT OR WOOL?
TO THX XMTOB Of TOT PBISS. Sir, —Having a casual look round the Royal Show to-day, I found the sheep seotion, and there discovered the great fat Corriedale first prize winner. True, he was fat beyond any prize pig, but although we want a class of fat stock, fat is not everything. Then the Merinos! The contrast was so great that it shocked me. The condition of these fine sheep had been neglected all for wool. They were only stores from the point of view of fat. —Yours, etc., COCKY. November 10th, 1927.
