DUKE OF YORK'S TOUR.
ENDURANCE TESTED BY SEA VOYAGE.
(BT CABI.E—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYEIGHT.) (Australian and n.z. cable association.) LONDON, November 7. Wearing liis furred gown as a member of the Worshipful Company of Shipwrights, to which he has just been admitted, the Duke of York, as guest of honour at the company's select lunch at the Mansion House, said: "I always look back on the voyage of H.M.S. Renown to Australia as one of my happiest experiences." He admitted that there was a moment when the ocean severely tested his powers of endurance and digestion, but it was not the fault of the ship, Navy, and the Shipwrights' Company. The company were custodians to the great maritime traditions of the Empire. So long as they treasured those ideals there was no fear of the Empire's future.
