Fancy Dress Contest for Ladies To mark t&c Grand Reopening of "The Farmers" on completion of extensive alterations,

£36 IN PRIZES G-*and Parade of Competitors in Costume through our Store, and Voting for Prize Winners, On FRIDAY EVENING, DECEMBER 2nd, at 7.30 o'clock. CONDITIONS 1. The Competition is open to ladies of Christchurch and district. Entrance forms may be obtained at any of our Piece Goods Departments. 2. The materials used in making the costumes entered in this Competition must have been purchased from "The Farmers'," and the cost not to exceed 15/-: 8. Costumes must be suitable for wear to a Taney Dress Carnival. 4. Charge dockets for materials purchased must be to entrance form. This must be filled in and signed by the competitor and returned to— THE DBAPERY MANAGER, N.Z. Farmers' Co-op. Assn., Christchurch, , not later than Monday, November 28th. 5. The public present will be the judges, and prizes awarded on popular vote. Scrutineers will be appointed to count the votes, and their decision must be accepted by competitors as final. 6. Ballot papers will be available, and distributed to all persons over 16 years of age in the establishment on Friday evening, December 2nd, prior to the commencement of the Parade. 7. Employees of The N.Z. Farmers' Co-op. are Ineligible to compete, as also are professional Dressmakers. 8. Competitors will arrive in costume. A Cloak Boom will be provided. 9. Competitors will assemble in our Tea Rooms on Friday Evening, December 2nd, at 7.30 sharp, where numbers will be issued, and join in the Grand Parade through the Store, returning to the Tea Kooms, where the results of voting will be announced. 64 PRIZES FOR MOST ORIGINAL COSTUME.
