SHOWMEN'S CARNIVAL.
TO-MORROW EVENING. To-morrow evening visitors and the residents of Christchurch will have an opportunity of seeing the Showmen's Carnival tit Addington. Toe amusement section will be gaily bedecked, and with an exterisivo lighting scheme will give patrons something to remember. The showmen will cater for nil, and with the bc-llringers. buekjumping, flying boats, freaks of nature, vaudeville, Ferris wheel (revolving 100 feet in tho air), etc., the. public will have no cause to complain. Tho carnival will be repeated on Friday and Saturday cveninge.
