CARNIVAL SCENES.
REPRODUCED IN PRINT. THE "WEEKLY PRESS" PICTURES. The "Weekly Press," which will be published to-morrow, will naturally feature in its illustrations some of the big events of Carnival Week. The racing at Riccarton has been exceptionally interesting, with the result that the photographers have obtained some fine pictures, which will be clearly reproduced, while snapshots of the racegoers are sure to attract a great deal of attention. Special pictures of the Cup and Derby winners will appear on "The Yeoman's" page. The sports gathering at which Christ's College won the secondary schools' championship will be well illustrated, and there will also be a number of views takep at the St. Margaret's College sports. Snapshots of pedestrians taken in the streets of Christcliurch will make a bright page, and there wili be much to admire in a group of camera studies from 'the West Coast. Pictures of the recent Maori carnival at Tuahiwi will be found to be something quite out of the ordinary, and the "miscellaneous" additions to •the illustrations will cover a very wide range of unusual subjects.
