FOUND DROWNED.
(press association telegram.) DARGAVILLE, November 7. Peter Brown, aged 72, was found floating in the river to-day. He left the boardinghouse, whero he spent the night, early in the morning, and his body was noticed at 10.30 and recovered! a few miles down by a launch. At the inquest a verdict of found drowned was returned, there being no evidence to show how he came in the water.
