ARBITRATION COURT.

LAST DAY OF SESSION. The final business at the session of the Arbitration Court occupied an hour on Saturday morning, when the following were added to the North Canter, burv Threshing Mill Workers' Award: —C. Philpot, Hawarderi; T. W. Harley, Rangiora \ Campbell and Kellahan, Ashburton; J. H. Mtiirhead and Son. Asbburton; A. Read, Willowby; W. F. Meaeleam, Wakanai; W. T. Tilsou, Hinds; A. Cridge, Brookside; P. J,uddy, Southbridge; 11. 0. Dixon, East Eyreton.

His Honour Mr Justice Fraier presided, with him being Messrs W. Scott (employers) and A. L. Monteith (workers). Mr H. Baldwin represented the, Union and Mr Cecil Prime appeared as the representative of a number of respondents. Iri supporting the application to have a number of persons added to the award, Mr Baldwin referred to a machine being bought by a number of neighbouring farmers, by which the part owners did not come within thescope of the award. Argument took place as to "types bF machines used—whether steam or petrol driven—after which the p'artie* named were added to the award.
