Mr Charles Buckotf, well known as New Zealand's 'King of Clubs," will mako an attempt to-swing Gib clubs for a period'of ■ii i urs conti »"ously. If successful, he will break all present Now Zealand records, and in addition will create a new" world's record for clubs of that .weight. 'This swiii" is considered to bo tlio most difficult and most exacting in the club-swinging world. Bu'cketfc has several world's records, including tho 81b club record for! over'4B hours' swinging. ' .The forthcoming attempt will take place in the Choral Ha.ll, commencing on Wednesday night and finishing Saturday night. A number of entertainments, including variety concerts by leading Christchurch performers, and Mr Buckctt's gymnasium girls, club-swinging competitions, impromptu concerts, dances, etc., havo ocen arranged.
