LYTTELTON NEWS.

Personal. Sister E. M. Gooding, who has been on a visit to England, returned this week, and has resumed charge of the casualty and maternity wards.

Church Services. By decision of the Lyttelton Ministers' Association, the local Churches have agreed' to begin their Sunday evening services at 7 o'clock instead of 6.30, in keeping with the daylight saving measure. Tho arrangement commences as from to-morrow.

To-morrow's Train Services. The ferry steamer Maori will arrive at Lyttelton an hour later than usual to-morrow morning, although she will only take tho usnal time on the trip from Wellington. This is due to the fact that the Maori leaves Wellington to-night to standard time, and arrives at Lyttelton to . summer time. A special train will leave Lyttelton at 7.15 a.m. to-morrow to convey passengers from Lyttelton to connect with the Otira excursion train. The train will return to. Lyttelton about 8 o'clock to convey the ferry passengers to Christchurch.

St. Saviour's Church. The Bishop of Christchurch will hold a confirmation service at St. Saviour's Church to-morrow, at 3 p.m. i

Concert and Dance. An entertainment by Lyttelton Club girls of the Y.W.C.A. will be given to-night in the AHandale Hall, and will be followed by a dance, the music being supplied by Miss Dorcen Jones.
