NORTH BRIGHTON C.T.U.
The monthly meeting of the Xorth Brighlon Young People's Christian Temperance Union was held at Mrs Leaver's residence, when Mrs Eames presided over a good attendance of members. The treasurer's report was adopted. It «s stated that a temperance demonstration was to be held in November, and it was decided that the Union should take part. One new member was initiated. Miss B. M. H'arband was welcomed to the meeting, and spoke on the aims and motto of the Union. A vote of thanks was accorded to Miss Harband for licr address. At the close of the meeting supper was provided by Mrs Leaver.
