LATE MR H. S. GORDON.

THE FUNERAL. The funeral of the late Mr Harry Stanley Gordon, of New Brighton, took place yesterday at Bromley. Mr Gordon saw service in the Great War, leaving for the front with the Nelson Company of tho 12th Regiment in the 24th Reinforcements. While on service he was gassed, and also contracted rheumatic fever, which contributed in no small degree to his demise at the age of 33. In business circles ho was held in high esteem. ,At the graveside were present relatives and a large number of the brethren of the Royal Order of Buffaloes, including representatives of tho Provincial Grand Lodge, New Brighton, Sydenham, Riccarton, Lyttelton, and Ye Petitor Minor Lodges. The Rev. H. Raine conducted the service, and the burial ceremony of the Royal Order of Buffaloes was read by Bro. J. H. Tolmie, C.P., Grand Lodge Chaplain.
