LATE MR H. S. GORDON.

THE FUNERAL. The funeral of the late Mr Harry Stanley Gordon, of New Brighton, took place yesterday at Bromley. Mr Gordon saw service in the Great War, leaving for the front with the Nelson Company of tho 12th Regiment in the 24th Reinforcements. While on service he was gassed, and also contracted rheumatic fever, which contributed in no small degree to his demise at the age of 33. In business circles ho was held in high esteem. ,At the graveside were present relatives and a large number of the brethren of the Royal Order of Buffaloes, including representatives of tho Provincial Grand Lodge, New Brighton, Sydenham, Riccarton, Lyttelton, and Ye Petitor Minor Lodges. The Rev. H. Raine conducted the service, and the burial ceremony of the Royal Order of Buffaloes was read by Bro. J. H. Tolmie, C.P., Grand Lodge Chaplain. Floral tributes were sent by: Mother and Clifford, Mr and Mrs Beeby and family, business men of New Brighton, officers and brethren of the New Brighton, Sydenham, and Grand Lodge, R.A.0.8., staff of Coulls, Sommerville, and Wilkie, ltd., Mr and Mrs C. E. Beeby, Cousins Florie, Henry, and Gladys, Mr and Mrs A. W. Scarr, Mr and Mrs S. O'Donnell, Mr and Mrs Liversey, Mr and Mrs Nankivell and family, Mr., Mrs, and Miss L. Holden, New Brighton Methodist Church members, Mr and Mrs S. Grammar and family, Mr W. J. Scott and family. Mr and Mrs Cox and family, Mr and Mrs W. G. Weavers and family. Messrs E and R. Delahuntv, South Brighton branch of, the W.C.T.TT., Bernard and Miriam Beeby, Mrs Hewitt and family, Mr and Mrs R. Campbell, Mr and Mrs Bourley, Mr and Mrs Perkins. Edith, Arthur, and family.
