CONCERT HALL.

INTERIOR DECORATIONS. All of the scaffolding has now been removed from the interior of the Municipal Concert Hall, except that between the orchestra well and rear of the building and at the back of the gallery. In the latter part beautiful floral decorations, in plaster, embellish ceiling and pillars. The gallery seats are not yet in place, but it bears a very commodious appearance. The hall widens perceptibly towards the Manchester street entrance. On the ceiling beautiful plaster panelling stands out in the shape of a shield, the sides of which are parallel with the walls of the hall. The decorative frieze, with figures symbolic of music, extends along the sides. At the rear of the gallery the lounge has been given the special attention of the plasterers, who have furnished it with a ceiling in rough cast, intersected by white panels.
