FAST TIMES RECORDED. Under excellent conditions a sports mcctiug, organised .by , : fhe Mariet Old Boys'. Athletic Club, was.held in Lancaster Park last evening. Good racing took place, and tho events were/'put through expeditiously... The 100 yds handicap was won by It. Leadbcttcr in ten seconds:in good.style, and the 600 yds race provided-a good finish.- Mr G. G. Lockwood started the- competitors well, and other members of tho Canterbury Centre of- the N;Z.A.A.A. assisted at the meeting.
