SHIPPING NOTES. The small steamer Kennedy, which <vas unable to sail on Tuesday owing to the crew's objection to the amount of deck cargo carried, sailed yesterday morning, the cargo having been reduced. The auxiliary schooner Aratopu was expected last night from Waitara, via "Wellington. She is to go on the slip here to have a new prbpollor fitted. The Calm, due this morning from Timaru, loads for Wellington and Wanganui, and is to sail this afternoon. The Wingatui is due this morning from Auckland and Wellington. She is to sail tonight for Dnncdin, and is expected back, via Timaru, on Tuesday, when she will load for Auckland.
The Opihi is due to-morrow from the south, and is to sail in the afternoon for Wellington, Nelson, New Plymouth, and Westport. The Katoa is due from Portland, Auckland, and Wellington at the end of the week, and commences loading here on Monday for Auckland direct.
The John should arrive, to-morrow from the north. She takes in cargo for Wellington, Wanganui, and New Plymouth. The Breeze is to load on Saturday for Wellington and Wanganui. The Storm is"expccted to-morrow from Wellington.! She sails in the afternoon with cargo for Dunedin, Oamaru. and Timaru. ' The Shaw. Saviil steamer Pakeha is to sail from Wellington at daybreak this morning for London, via Montevideo. The Treniesdow has been delayed at Wellington by rain, and is now due at Lyttelton to-morrow to continue discharge of her New York cargo. The Manuka discharged Melbourne cargo here yesterday, and loaded for that port. She sailed last night via Dunedin and Bluff. The Ruapehu is to sail to-day for Bluff to complete discharge of her London cargo. The Kahika is due-on Sunday from Dunedin and Timaru. She sails on Monday for Wellington, Napier, and Gisborne. Tbo C. and D. Line steamer Port Darwin arrived at Bluff at 5 p.m. on Monday from Port' Kemhla,-to commence loading for London. The vessel will next proceed to J.vttelton.
Cabled advice has been roccivod by the Union Company that the Kartigi, which has been loading at South Australian ports, loft Melbourne at 7 p.m. on Saturday for Auckland. The vessel also has cargo for discharge at New Plymouth and Wellington. The Waihemo, in continuation of thp discharge of her Pacific Coast cargo, sailed from Lyttelton yesterday for Napier, instead of for Wellington. Tho vessel is to leave Napier on Monday next for Wellington and New Plymouth to complete discharge. The Union Company report, that tho Waihora cleared San Pedro at 7.30 p.m. on October 26th, with Pacific Coast cargo for discharge at Papeete, Wellington, Duncdin, Lyttelton, Napier, Nelson,, and New Plymouth. She is duo at Papeeto about November 10th, and at Wellington on November 20th. The New Zealand Shipping Company have received a wireless message from tho Retiiuora, en route from London and Southampton; stating that she will arrive at Wellington next Sunday 'afternoon. She is duo at Lyttclton on Tuesday.
