DANCE AT CALEDONIAN HALL.
FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION. The Caledonian Hall presented an animated appearance last evening on the occasion of the annual dance of the Canterbury Football Association. The hall was tastefully decorated with streamers of red and black, the eolours of the Association, while the platform ■was festooned with greenery. Chief among the guests wore his "Worship the Mayor (Mr J. K. Archer) and Mrs Archer, and the Town Clerk 'Mr J. S. Neville) and Mrs Neville. During the course of the evening the trophies won by the various clubs during the season were presented by the president of the Association (Mr B. English). The Mayor complimented the winning clubs upon their success, and expressed the hope that the 192S season would be the best yet. Those present included: —Mr and Mrs R. English, Mr and Mrs R. B. "Whittington, Mr and Mrs B. Seragge, Mr and Mrs B. Bundell, Mr and Mrs E. Beumelburg, Mesdames S. H. C. Perrin, and J. Eaglesome, Misses G. Hastings, Johnson, E. Millar, C. Stewart, P. Jackman, A. Beid, S. Young, Sutherland, R. Mitchell, R. and Eenee "White, D. keys, M. Millar, H. Eastgate, L. and D. Phillip, Messrs A. Phillip, F. Bridgens, <5. B. Towart, F. Graham, J. Muscroft, J. Hoy, T.
