CASHEL STREET EAST.

TO THE EDITOR OT THJ PBESS. Sir Might I encroach a little on vuur valuable space in order to draw tho attention of the City to a portion of Cashc-1 street which is >adlv in need of repair? I refer to the whole of the light-hand side of Cashel street from Fitzgerald a/venuo to Linwood avenue. Only those who are luckless enough to have 10 travel over this section of street every day can realise how had it is. Motorists take the law into their own hands and ride on the tram tracks when and.wherever they can. I am not one to growl unless there is good cause. In this instance the cause has been apparent for nearly a vear. —Yours, etc.. NEW BRIGHTON.
