GISBORNE HARBOUR.
(PP.ISS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) GISBORXE, November 1. A petition to Parliament for a Koyal Commission to investigate the policy and methods of construction adopted by the Gisborne Harbour Board will be considered by a Select Committee of the House on. Friday. The Board will be represented by its chairman, engineer, and secretary, with instructions to oppose the appointment of a Commission on the grounds of unnecessary expense.
