•—— The Christchurch Polo Club will open its season on Friday next, at S p.m., and games will also be. played during Cup Week on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday afternoons. There will bo a number of playera from the Pareora Polo Club and Amuri Polo Club, including Messrs A. S. Elworthy, H. Elworthy, Colin Deans, and Roger Gould. The ground is in exceptionally good order this year, and there should be somo good games this week.
