SHIPPING NOTES. The Karetu left last evening for Timaru, Oamaru. Bluff, and Sydney. The Waipiata will be dispatched for Wellington and Auckland to-day. The Waihemo is to sail for Napier, "Wellington, and New Plymouth to-morrow. The Wingatui, from Auckland, via Wellington, is due to-morrow morning to discharge and leaves in the evening for Dunedin and Timaru. The Opihi, from Dunedin, via Oamaru and Timaru. is expected to-morrow to load for Wellington, Nelson, New Plymouth, and Westport. The Manuka, from Melbourne, via Wellington, is expected on Wednesday, and will sail the, same evening for Dunedin, Bluff, and Melbourne. . The Katoa. from Portland, via Auckland. Napier, and Wellington, is due on Thursday to discharge cement. She loads and proceeds from Lyttelton to Auckland direct. The Kennedy, on completing her loading at Lyttelton to-day. will be dispatched for Wellington and Foxton. The Chatham Island steamer Tees .'ailed from Lyttelton last evening for the round trip of the Islands. The West Nivaria .it present disohuremg case oil and general American cargo from the Pacific Coast, is. to sail this evening for Timaru. Dunedin. and Wanganui.

The Turaklna, which has been engaged in discharging West of England cargo at Lyttelton since the latter part of last week, sailed last evening for Dunedin. The Wingatui is due at Lyttelton from the south on Sunday next to load for Wellington and Auckland.

The Karma, from Walpolc Island and Noumea, with phosphates, is due at Lyttelton on November 17th. The Kekerancu, from Kdithbur? and Adelaide, via Dunedin, should arrive at Lvttelton on November loth. The Waikouaiti. from Newcastle and Sydney, via Bluff and Dunedin, is due lwe en November IHth to discharge. The Corintliie, which is at present discharging Home enrso at Wellington, is to sail to-dav for Auckland to complete unloading. She will then load jit Gisbornc. Thr Osterley sailed from Loudon on Saturday, and in due at Melbourne on December sth. The Orsova, from Sydney, is due at Colombo on Novembor 2nd, and at London on November 24th. With a shipment of maize from South Africa, the S.S. and A. steamer Mahia is duo a I Auckland on November 10th. where she will cominenco unloading. She will complete discharge at Wellington, arriving there on November 17th, and afterwards load at New Plymouth, Wanstanui, Wollingtbn, Bluff, LyUelton, and Port Chalmers. She will load at Wellington from November 29th to December 3rd, and leaves Port Chalmers on December 15th for London, via Punta Arenas (South America).
