. * Harbour light Theatre. There was a lull house at (lie Harbour Light Theatre on Saturday niglil, when "Senorita," a comedy-romance, starring Bebo Daniels, was screened. The supporting programme included •'Bucking the Truth," featuring Pete Morrison, a comedy, and a gazette. The complete programme will be repeated to-night. To-morrow a double feature programme consisting of a racing drama, "The Sunset Derby," starring Mary Astor and "The Timid Terror," a comedy, featuring George O'Hara, will be screened*,' together with a screen magazine and a comedy. Seamen's Institute. An excellent concert, arranged by Miss Grand, of the Sumner Guild, was given in the Seamen's Institute, Lytteltoii, on Thursday evening. The programme was as follows:—Orchestral selections; songs, Mrs Andrews and Miss Irivin; recitation and musical monologue, Mrs Graham; concluding with a farce, entitled "Kork, Aforesaid," which was admirably acted, and evoked much laughter. The artistes taking part were Misses Grand, Han-is, Cooper, and Couzins, Mosdatnes Graham and Millar. The superintendent expressed thanks to Miss Grand for arranging the programme, and to all the performerSi Supper was afterwards served. Fifty men were present.
Golf. A large number oi members of tbe I,yHelton Liolf Club and friends inade the" trip across to Charteris Bay ; csterday, to take part in the closing of the season. A mixed foursome match was held, and also driving, approaching, and putting competitions. In the afternoon, tho president, Mr Ortou Bradley, presented the trophies won during the season as follows:—Men's Senior Championship: F. Knights. Junior Championship: G. Morris.
