Motor Cycle Speed Trials INDIAN & A.J.S Have Easy Wins At New Brighton last Saturday, A. Smith, riding an INDIAN, won tht 1000 c.c. Class with a speed of OVER 94 MILES PEE HOUR. He also made fastest time for the day with 96 MILES PER HOUR. The Machine used was the Bame 8-year-old STOCK MODEL INDIAN^ which has been placed in every event in which i{ has started. It has probably won more events than all opposition machines In use la New Zealand to-day put together, and it Is still superior to any of them. A. Smith, riding a 3i H.P. A.J.S., won the 600 c.c. Class AT 82 MILES PER HOUR. C. Burford on his 3J HJP., A.J.S., was 3rd with 76 miles per hour. S. Preddy, riding his 2 J H.P. A.J.S., gained third place in the 350 c.c Class. All of these A.J.S. machines are privately owned, and are used on the roads every day. A.J.S. owners are satisfied.
