NESTLE'S CONDENSED MILK CO. Traaing. results of Xest'.e's . and AngloSwißs Condensed Milk Co. (Australasia), Ltd., yielded a net profit for tie year ended June 24th of £287,164, against £280,656 for 1925-26. Substantial jmounts have again been written oft', as £57,500 is allowed for depreciation, against £72,500 in the previous year. The sum-of £35,656 was added to the taxation reserve in the previous year, and this year £40,364 is set aside for the purpose, and £SOOO is allowed for doubtful debts. Those appropriations aggregate £112,864, leaving £174,300 to be added to the appropriation account. Preferenca shareholders receive 8 per cent., and £87,500 is absorbed by a dividend of 35 per cent, en the ordinary share capital, leaving £26,800 to be carried forward, against £20,000 brought into the accounts. The report states that the turnover for the year covered by the accounts discloeed a satisfactory increase over that of the previous twelve months, evidencing continued progress on the part of the company. The ordinary share capita) is £2,500,000, and the preference capital £1.000,000; sundry creditors account for £518,763, against £376,214 a year ago; depreciation reserve Btands at £323,000. against £255,500; taxation reserve £43,864: and profit and loss £114.300, against £107,51)0. The assets include freeholds, plant, etc., £1,584,166; products on hand, £643,111, against £580,480; sundry debtors, cash, etc., £1,568,539; investments, £437,007. against £428.272; and goodwill, etc, £266,924.
