Mr Justice* Adam 3 will leave for Timaru to-day to preside over the Supreme Court session opening on Tuesday. Recent arrivals at the Clarendon Hotel are Messrs 11. P. Caughey (Auckland), Alfred G. Lunn (Auckland), and H. S. Fairehild (Wellington). After an absence of five Sundays, owing to ill-health, the Eev. W. Arthur Hay will resume his ministry tomorrow at Durham street. Mr F. J. Easmussen, on the staff of the New Zealand Insurance Co., Ltd., Christchurch, has received notification of his transfer to the Company's branch in Calcutta, and will leave for India in November. Mr C. Leeming, the. Hon. secretary of the Sealed Bottle Milk Vendors' Association, at yesterday's annual meetreceived a presentation from the Association in appreciation of his services during the year.
