The ecene in the picture gallery is magnificently •taged, and the dressing is most elaborate. _ There is much music and mirth in this unique opera, and the choruses are most effective, while the solos are musical srnnis for which Sullivan is now famous. In this brilliant Gilbert and Sullivan oration several well-known a-d bighly-capablo operatic stars will appear, including Strelia Wilson, John Ralston, Charles Walenii, Bernard Manning, Patti Efssell, Winifred Williamson, Charles Mettam, and many others. On Thursday, November 3rd, "Ruddigore" will be staged for the last time, and will be followed by other Gilbert and Sullivan successes, a fresh opera being produced nightly. Details of these aTe advertised. There was very heavy booking yesterday for the whole season. The box plans are at The Bristol. There will be matineo performances on Wednesdays r.nd Saturdays.
