It will connect with ferry steamer. sth, 3th, and 11th NOVEMBER: Passenger train for Christchurch leaves Timaru 7.20 a.m., arriving Christchurch 10.50 a.m. On 3th November part of this train with Racecourse passengers runs direct to the Racecourse. Stops at Temuka, Orari, Hinds, Tinwald, Ashburton, Washdyke, Winchester, Rangitata, Ealing, and Winslow to pick up passengers. Passenger train for Timaru leaves Christchurch 8.0 p.m., arriving Timaru 11.20 p.m. Takes passengers from Christchurch for Ashburton and stations south thereof. 12th NOVEMBER: The 12.25 p.m. Christchurch-Dunedin mail train WILL run. Passenger train for Timaru leaves Christchurch 9.0 p.m., arriving Timaru 12.23 a.m. 13th. Takes passengers for Rakaia, stations Ashburton to Timaru inclusive and for Oamaru. It connects at Timaru with, special train for Oamaru. CHRISTCHURCH-GREYMOUTH. 4th and 14th NOVEMBER: The 9.45 a.m. Christchurch-Grey-mouth and 10.35 a.m. Greymouth-Christchurch mail trains WILL run. 14th NOVEMBER: The 8.20 a.m. Christchurch-Greymouth and 7.40 a.m. Greymouth-Christchurch trains will NOT run between Christchurch and Otira. LYTTELTON LINE. 4th NOVEMBER: The 7.30 p.m. Christchurch-Lyttelton express train WILL run. It connects with ferry steamer. The 8.32 p.m. Lyttelton-Christchurch train WILL run. sth and 12th NOVEMBER: Usual 5.45 p.m. train for Lyttelton leaves Christchurch 6.16 p.m. 11th NOVEMBER: Special trains stopping where required for passengers leave Christchurch for Lyttelton 9.15 and 9.45 a.m., returning from Lyttelton 9.40 and 10.10 a.m. Should the weather be unfavourable these trains will NOT run. Evening train for passengers north of Rangiora leaves Christchurch 5.6 p.m.; connects at Waipara with train for Parnassus; arrives Waiau 9.25 p.m.; does not take passengers for stations up to Rangiora inclusive or for Eyreton or Oxford Branches, and between Christchurch and Rangiora stops only to pick up for north of Rangiora. Special train for Parnassus leaves Waipara 7.35 p.m. after arrival of 5.6 p.m. train from Christchurch. Special train for Oxford West leaves Christchurch 5.25 p.m., Rangiora 6.56 p.m.; takes passengers for all stations up to Rangiora inclusive, also for Oxford Branch.
