The repairs to the bows of the liner Kent which was damaged by the breakwater at New Plymouth recently, are being rauidlv pushed ahead in the dock at Port Chalmers' Despite_ the wintry conditions prevailing at the beginning of. the week the work was continued, and a large canvas suspended from the vessel s bows provided shelter from the driving sleet and bitter winds.
