TRINITY CHURCH.

$ SALE OF WORK AND CONCERT. To aid tho general funds of the church, a sale of work, tea for business people, and an evening concert were held at Trinity Congregational Church yesterday. The sale, arranged by members of the Ladies' Guild, was opened by the Rev. D. Gardner Miller, who expressed his pleasure at the large attendance, and the hope that the various stalls would be well patronised, During the afternoon and evening very satisfactory business was done, and the funds should receive material assistance from the effort. The stall-holders were as follows: — Work stall, Mesdames Gardner Miller, Hargreaves, and Lorimer; cakes stall, Mesdames Morton and Hayley; afternoon tea and fruit salad, Mesdames W. Evans, C: Evans, Sturgo, and Miss Stone; flower stall, Mrs Lilly.

The evening concert, arranged by Mr Kaynor White, was contributed by the following artists: —Misses Taggarfc and Moody, piano solos; Mrs Stapp, Miss Harris, Mr Blenkinsopp, and Skipper Francis, songs: Messrs Blenlcinsopp and Wilson, duet.
