BOOKMAKER CAUGHT IN HOTEL,

John Milne, a bookmaker in a small way, was caught during business hours in a local hotel on Labour Day, and as a result lie appeared in the Police Court to-day. He pleaded guilty and was fined £3O, tho Magistrate remarking that in view of defendant's physical disabilities he did not wish to inflict too heavy a penalty..
