FIRES.

HOTEL DESTROYED. (rKESS ASSOCIATIOK telegram.) WAIROA, October 26. The Mohaka Hotel, consisting of 20 rooms, was burned down early this morning. It is surmised the fire started near the bar-sitting-room. The hotel was occupied at the time by the licensee, " Mr D. J. Murphy, his wife, and family, and three others.. All escaped in their nigbt clothes. The owner of the building is J. Tait, Mohaka. The insurances on the furniture and stock-in-trade total £9OO. The insuranceg on the building is not available.
