to thb «dito* or rat rsiss. Sir, —I beg sufficient of the valuably space of .your paper to protest against the unsanitary conditions and manner in which certain residents of Kirwee aro pig-farming in the midst of the township. These pigs number approximately 30, of various ages and sizes, and aro housed in very small runs within a stonethrow of several b °ptgs even in suitable surroundings sanitary conditions, and clean stys, are not, in my opinion, suitable compaaions for humau Jjeings, and wl*en hying in crowded space, and fed largely on raw and parboiled meat, the odours which invade the neighbourhood by no means agreeable. I consider it time the Health authorities, graced the viilaz© with ft visit.* \ours, ; viuage » i6NANT RESID bnT.
