A FINE DISPLAY.
1 IN PICTORIAL WEEKLY. MANY PAGES OF BRIGHT FEATURES. The list of Mr R. Bruce-Smith's illustrated articles on the capture of wild beasts in Kenya Colony is published this week in the "Weekly Press," which will be on sale to-day. Another outstanding feature of the letterpress is "Six Per Cent.V article dealing with the investment of money on mortgage, and among the illustrated contributions is a chatty account of a Canterbury industry that is little known, the milling of pinus insignis timber in the Rangitata district. The fiction pages and the sections especially concerned with the interests of children, of women, and of farmers well filled with readable matter. The illustrations tHis week, printed with all the technical excellence which "» recent months has given the "Weekly Press" first place among the Dominion's pictorial publications, cover a wide range of subjects. A fine panoramic picture shows the State forest at Hanmer Springs, which was so seriously damaged by fire on Saturday morning. There are snapshots taken at the Christchurch Girls' High School sports, pictures from the Christchurch bowling greens, a fins snap of Limerick, the champion racehorse, on the wharf at Wellington last week, and other pictures that will interest all ■kinds of renders. It i= a really com-, prehensive display.
