NOTES AND MEMORANDA.
The annual meeting of the Halswoll Hall Committee will be held in the hall on Thursday evening next. Musical and elocutionary competitions will be held in St. Paul's School Hall to-night. The Cathedral Grammar School sports will bo held to-morrow on the West Christchurch cricket ground. The Rangi-Ruru sports have been postjxmed till October 26th. The Malvern Plunket Society will hold a jumble sale in Zi. Andrew's Schoolroom tomorrow. There will lie no meeting of the Pride of Christchurch Tent, L.0.R., to-night. The next meeting will be held on Friday.
