SHIPPING NOTES. The Wairau is to be dispatched this afternoon with cargo for Blenheim. Tho Corinna is to load to-day for Wellington, Nelson, and New Plymouth. The Orepuki arrived on Sunday from Timaru, and discharges a part cargo of cement to-day. She then loads for Nelson, West-port, and Greymouth. The Kamo .should be here on Thursday from the south to load for Napier and Gisborne. The Waipiata is expected on Friday from Dunedin and Timaru to load for Auckland. Tho Calm should arrive to-morrow from Wellington, and is to sail in the afternoon for Bluff, Dunedin, and Timaru. The Storm is due on Thursday from the south, to take in cargo for Wellington and Wanganui. The Kniapoi is an expected arrival tomorrow from Wellington -with hardwood from Bunbury for discharge.
The Waipori is due on Thursday from Westport, via Bluff, Duncdin, and Oaroaru. The Karetu should arrivo on Thursday from Sydney, via Duncdin. She is to fail on Friday or Saturday for Sydney, via Timaru. Oamaru, and Bluff. The Tees is to load for the Chatliauis this week. The Holmdalc is due from Dunodin and Timaru on Thursday to load for Wellington and Wanganui. The Kennedy is to load on Saturday next for Wellington and l-'oxton. The Waihemo. from Son Francisco, via Apia. Bluff, and Duntdin, should arrive here on Thursday. The John is to load to-day for Wellington, Wanganui, Xcw Plymouth, and Wnikato. A further radio message has been received from the Carnitine, en route from London, stating that she expects to arrive at Wellington at 6 o'clock this morning. Cabled news has been received that the Norfolk, en route from Liverpool to Auckland, arrived at Panama on Tuesday, and sailed again on Wednesday in continuation of her voyage. The Tremcadotr, which failed from New York on September 17; h. arrived at Auckland on Sunday evening. she is due at Wellington on Friday.
SCHOONER ASHORE. (r-SESS ASSOCIATION - TELEGRAM. 1 WAIPAWA. October 24. The auxiliary schooner Maroro stranded inside Blackhead reef at 4.20 a.m. to-day. Everybody is safe. There is no prospect 'of getting the vessel off until the weather moderates.
