Harbour Light Theatre. There will be a special holiday change of programino at the Harbour Light Theatre to-day, with matinee at 3 p.m. and evening session commencing at 7.30. The chief attraction is a Paramount comedy -romance, "Woman-Handled," starring the popular comedian, Richard Dix. There is a good supporting programme. To-morrow a doublefeature programme, consisting of "Broadway Nights," a spectacular drama featuring Lois. Wilson and Olive Brook, and "The Better Man," a comedy-romance starring the "stunt" actor, Richard Talmadge, will bei screened, together with a comedy and gazette. Diamond Harbour Golf Club. .There was a large attendance at the close of season touruey- of the Diamond Harbour Club, which took place on Saturday afternoon on the club links at Diamond Harbour, After the closing-day competitions, consisting of driving, approaching, and putting, were decided, the- presentation of trophies won during the season was made by the president. Mr W. Paine. The presentation of trophies took place on the spacious verandah of Godley House, where afternoon tea was served.

Tlu, I.vtteltou Howling Club opeued :!.« season on Saturday afternoon, when there was a very large attendance of members, friends, and visiting bowlers. Mr J. X. Neville, vice-president of the club, in the absence of the president (Mr J. T. Norton), owing to the serious illness of Mrs Norton, declared the season open. Mr Neville welcomed the new members, and stated that the increase in new members this year was the lamest vet made. He was pleased to say that the* green was in excellent condition. At his call cheers were given for Mr T. K. Sidey, M.P. * ... Miss Zita Neville, daughter oi the vicepresident, sent up the kitty, and Mrs T. Malnir rolled the first bowl. The visitors were afterwards entertained at afternoon tea. During the afternoon the trophies won in the previous season were presented as follows:—Jir \V. C. Cleary, president's trophy; Messrs J. N. Neville and K. Weastell. Norton Shield; Mr J. Hudson, Hamilton .Tank; Messrs \V. C. G. Taylor, AY. llolliss, J. H. Collins, and D. Page' (s), winners of Centre championship; Mr D. Page, champion singles; Messrs R. Phillips and AY. C. Cleary (s), champion doubles. Gun Club. The Lyttolton Gun Club held its final shoot for a handsome silver cup presented by Mr Harold Gardiner (Purau), on its ground, Oflicers' Point, on Saturday. The light was very bad, and made shooting hard. H. M. Wright broke 64 birds out of 70, including runs of 26 and 21 straight, making his seore 90 birds out of 100. H. Blackle.r was run-ner-up with 02 out of 70, making his scoro 86 out of 100, including » run of 29 straight. H. H. Gardiner was third, and broke 52 out of 70, making his score 75 out of 100. Mr AY. AYUitford, on behalf of Mr AV. O. O. Smith, president of the club, presented Mr AYright with the cup, and congratulated him and the runner-up, H. Blackler, on their excellent shooting.
