STUDENTS' CONCERT.

"0 STAR OF EVE" (WAGNER), FOR 20 'CELLOS AND HARP. A distinct novelty for music-lovers will be featured at next Tuesday evening's orchestral and instrumental concert in the Choral Hall. Wagner's familiar melody, "O, Star of Eve," will always hold a very high place in the affections of musical people. The programme to be presented by the advanced pupils of Irene Morris and Harold Beck will include the performance of this aria by an ensemble of twenty 'cellos and harp (Mr W. Glaysher). The care and industry with which this number is being prepared, together with other works for full orchestra, promises an artistic achievement, and a novelty to be long remembered. Another feature will be the performance of Bach's Concerto for two violins and orchestra, besides other solos, trios, and two suites for strings only. Music-lovers should not miss next Tuesday's concert, and are advised to make early booking at The Bristol, where the plan is showing marked activity.
