INDIA AND BACK.
BRITISH AVIATOR'S FEAT.
SIXTEEN DAYS TAKEN.
(by cable—prbsg association—copyright.) (Stdnst "Buh" Sxrvics.) (Received July 25th J 7 p.m.) LONDON, July 25. An aviator named Black landed at Croydon from an 18,600 mile flight to India and back, a record distance with a passenger. He also made the record time for a flight from Europe to India—nine days, against Sir Samuel Hoare's previous record of eleven. This is regarded as a striking illustration of the commercial value of longdistance air transport. Black flew thirteen days out of the sixteen which the journey occupied.
