BULL ATTACKS BOY.
MOTORIST'S DASH TO RESCUE.

AUCKLAND, July 25. A boy on the East Tamaki road yesterday afternoon had a very narrow escape from being gored to death by a bull. The incident was witnessed by Mr R S. Wood, Town Clerk of Otahuhu, who was driving along the road m his motor-cai. . .. The bov was approaching the bull, when it rushed him and threw him on to the road and then jumped on him with its four hoofs. It had turned towards him again when Mr Wood, who had accelerated his car at the first signs of the danger, blew his horn and the bull made off. , , .-. It is not at present known who the boy was nor the extent of his injuries.
