Beam Wireless. Delhi, July 24.—The beam wireless service between Britain and India has been opened. Paving Work in London. London, July 24th-Commencing tomorrow, Piccadilly shuts up for five months for road-making, having last been paved in 1912. It was the cause of the biggest dislocation of traffic in the history of London. Vehicles ma? use Constitution Hill at a walking pace.
