METHYLATED SPIRITS POISONING.
(PBESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) NGARUAWAHIA, July 35. On Saturday night a Maori named Mangaroa, and known locally as Sharkey, became ill at Pongarau, near Ngaruawahia, through drinking methylated spirits by mistake for whisky, and died to-day.
