HIS MAJESTY'S PICTURES, ASHBURTON.
- —*- An attractive treble bill has been Arranged for to-night's programme at His Majesty's Pictures. That popular film star,, Gloria .Swanson, will be featured in theprincipal production, "StageV Struck," in which she plays a pathetic comedy role. ■ A. tensely dramatic story is revealed in "Another Scandal," starring Lois ■ Wilson, while "Little Ked Eiding Hood," depicting that favourite fairy story of the same name, should find favour with the children at the matinee this afternoon. There will also be a Paths Gazette shown this evening. A film full of fun aptly describes Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer's latest comedy-drama, "Along Came Euth," to be shown on Monday and Tuesday nights. The story is laid, in a small lifeless town, and tells of a city girl who rejuvenates it with a series of stunts that leave the inhabitants breathless. The leading role is played by Viola Dana.
