Ussher (Seft n street) and Miss Gibbs (Auckland) will leave tor day for a holiday at Mount Cook. Mrs Paul Brodrick and her two { daughters (Martinborough) are in Tit maru. Hospital Board Elections. At the monthly meeting of the United j Friendly Societies' Council it was unanimously decided to nominate Brother R. I S. Griffiths as a candidate for a seat on the South Canterbury Hospital Board. A strong Organisation ComI mittee was set up to ensure his election.
