A good attendance of members was. recorded at the meeting of the Durham street Circuit Quarter, Board, the ..IJcy. ."W: A. being in the chair. The'election of officers resulted in Messrs J. A. Fleslrer and W. Tuck being re-elettcd •as senior and junior circuit stewards respectively. . It was reported that Mr E. Firth,, organist,, at present absent on a visit to England,- would return in time to resume duties on: February 20th. A committee was appointed to arrange harvest festival services for . the third - Sunday in. March.. The Rev., W. A.- .Hay.reported that he was arranging for, a "welcome social to th« young• people attending--the-vari6us educational institutions -in. the C.tty. • .Qn the motion of Mr .J A. F.ltiher, it wa» jesolved to'invite "the Conference'to hold'the 1928 session in Christchurch. \ "' • .: .-'
