N.S.W. BOATING TRAGEDY.

SYDNEY, January 19
While a party of four boys and four girls were boating on Tuggerah Lakes, they were overtaken by b, southerly gale, which reached a velocity of 50. miles an hour. The boat was rar'ly swamped by the waves, and the party decided to overturn the craft and cling to the bottom, This was done, but it was not long before two youths had lost their grip and were drowned. Olio girl twice lost her hold, but was brought back. On th 6 third occasion, however, she was lost sisht °f, aid WBa drowned. TJie boat eventually drifted ashore with five survivors.
