SPORTS AT RANGIORA. A Very successful swimming carnival was held at the Bangiora Municipal Baths last evening. There wero large entries and excellent times were recorded by the competitors. Third heat: J. Harley 1, A. Cox 2. Final: Harley .1, A. Cos 2. Time, Usee. ' 25yds Women's Eace—Miss D. Langley 1, Miss Eva Wilson 2, Miss W. Collington 3. Time, 2S 2-osco. 25yds Boys' Eace —R. Smith 1, A. Murphy 2. Time, 17 2-ssec. 75yds Belay Eace—Harley, Cox, and Kinley 1. High Dive—H. Ansford 1, A. B. Binger 2. Women's Belay Eace—Misses K. Cole and E. Bowe 1, Misses E. Wilson anc] D. Langley 2. At the conclusion of the sports, Mr Walter Johnson, president of tho club, announced that £6 6s had been given that night for a half-mile race, and £3 3s for a women's quarter-mile.
